Parent & Young Person Support Liaison

(position to commence January 2022)

Oakfield School is a residential special school catering for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.  We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and positive individual who is caring, approachable and compassionate by nature, with excellent communication skills.  You must have at least 12 months relevant child care experience and the ability to meet a wide range of care needs for children and/or young people.

Candidates will be expected to have attained an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject.

You are expected to provide high quality care and support to both pupils and parents.  This will involve supporting at various appointments and working within family homes as well as the school and residential settings.

Salary: Grade 6 – £18, 754 – £21, 077 per annum (actual salary)

Hours: 35 per week, Term Time only plus 5 training days

Emotional Wellbeing & Parental Support Assistant

(position to commence January 2022)

Oakfield School is a residential special school catering for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.  We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and positive individual who is caring, approachable and compassionate by nature, with excellent communication skills.  You must have at least 12 months relevant child care experience and the ability to meet a wide range of care needs for children and/or young people.

Candidates will be expected to have attained an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject and hold the ELSA qualification or be willing to undertake this training.

You will be expected to provide high quality care, control and supervision to children and young people within the residential and school setting.
