Hull FC and Hull KR Mascot Visit

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Hull FC and Hull KR mascot visit such a fantastic success!

We were delighted to welcome both mascots into school as part of our Attendance Drive, helping us to promote the importance of positive school attendance in such a fun, exciting and engaging way. Our pupils had a brilliant time meeting the mascots, enjoying the excitement and learning more about why every school day counts!

The visit was organised by Emma Davidson, Hull City Council Education Welfare Officer, as part of our ongoing efforts to encourage and celebrate positive attendance. Initiatives like this are a great way to engage pupils, raise awareness of the importance of coming to school every day and remind everyone that good attendance helps children make the most of their learning opportunities, friendships and experiences.

A special thank you to Nick Riggs for organising the visit and bringing everything together, and to Rachel Lillford and Dianne Green for kindly volunteering to wear the mascot costumes.

Thank you to everyone involved for helping to make this such a memorable and enjoyable experience for Team Oakfield!
