2025 marks the 11th anniversary of Wear Red Day, and today, Oakfield School proudly stands united against racism. Staff and pupils are wearing red to show their solidarity and to support the school’s ongoing commitment to promoting equality and tackling racism.
As part of the day, pupils are also taking part in tutor group discussions, exploring the importance of anti-racism, raising awareness, supporting a more inclusive, and respectful society.
By taking part in Show Racism the Red Card, we are raising awareness and championing a future built on inclusivity, respect, and unity.
Together, we stand for change. Together, we wear red.

As you may already be aware, the Governing Body of Oakfield School is considering converting to an academy under the Academies Act 2010 and is proposing to join The Consortium Academy Trust. The Governing Body is now consulting on whether the school’s conversion to academy status should take place.
