Residential Provision

Residential Provision

The residential provision is a specialised care environment designed to support children aged 11 to 16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. The facilities offer a structured setting where children receive a comprehensive 24-hour care package to enhance their well-being and personal growth.

The goal is to help children build resilience, self-esteem, confidence, relationships, and independence while supporting their education and journey at Oakfield School.

The provision includes enrichment activities, engaging programmes and social experiences tailored to individual pupils’ needs, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to face life’s increasingly tough challenges.

Houses

The residential provision comprises six houses, including one specially designed as a disabled house to support children with disabilities and accessibility needs. The facility can accommodate up to 34 children.  Each house contains ensuite bedrooms, an open plan living and dining area, and two cosy snugs.

The residential provision was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in May 2024.

For further information about the residential provision, please contact the school by telephone: (01482) 854588 or email: admin@oakfieldhull.co.uk.
